Herkunft

Glentauchers ist eine Whiskybrennerei bei Mulben, Banffshire.

Die Destillerie wurde 1897 von James Buchanan und W. P. Lowrie in der Speyside gegründet. Sie besaß zunächst zwei Brennblasen. 1903 wurde sie in Glentauchers-Glenlivet Distillery umbenannt und 1906 von Buchanan übernommen. Da Buchanan im Wesentlichen Blends vertrieb (unter anderem Black & White) wurden die hergestellten Whiskys zum Großteil für die eigenen Blends verwendet. 1925 wurde die Brennerei in den DCL-Konzern eingegliedert und 1930 von der SMD übernommen. Mitte der sechziger Jahre wurde die Brennerei umfassend renoviert. Es wurde ein neues Stillhouse gebaut und vier weitere Brennblasen in Betrieb genommen. 1985 wurde die Destillerie stillgelegt und 1989 von Allied Distillers wiedereröffnet. Allied Distillers wurde von Chivas Brothers übernommen, welche schließlich in den Pernod-Ricard-Konzern eingegliedert wurden.

Das Wasser für die Produktion stammt aus dem Rosarie Burn, der in den River Spey mündet. Die Brennerei besitzt eine Jahreskapazität von bis zu 4 Mill. Liter Alkohol 

Die Brennerei verfügt über kein Besucherzentrum.

I've been a huge fan of micellar products ever since they came onto the US market and these Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes are no exception! I usually wash my face afterwards with a gentle cleanser and continue on with my skincare routine. However, on the nights I'm really tired, I rely on these wipes to remove all of my makeup. These wipes do not leave any type of chemical residue behind and make my face feel fresh and clean. The Simple Micellar Makeup Remover Wipes are a staple in my skincare routine. I keep one pack in my bedside table for easy access on the nights I'm too lazy to wash my face, one in my vanity, and another in my gym bag--I clearly like to stock up!
