MEASUREMENTS:
Sculpted low-fire earthenware, measures 9" H x 4" W. All vases are dishwasher and food safe.PROCESS:
This vase is hand thrown with low-fire earthenware. After curing for several days, its form is smoothed and prepped for the carving process. Each perforation is tooled, carved, and cleaned several times in order to create a finished surface. After a bisque firing, it is glazed and fired a final time.Please note that each piece is handmade to order and will ship in 4-6 weeks after your order is placed.

An Incredible Resource

The author has a wealth of knowledge about wildlife gained through his education, his work as a naturalist in Yellowstone National Park, his observations as a wildlife sculptor and the time he spends in Yellowstone for the sheer enjoyment of watching the animals. The concept of learning how animals communicate with each other is fascinating. Bumann shares his knowledge from his observations in an entertaining and fascinating way. Obviously, he has a love of the animals and a love of what he does. What a gifted author!
