A fully enclosed cave bed shaped like a giant slipper — for dogs that like to burrow in somewhere soft and stay there.
Some dogs want somewhere to disappear into rather than simply lie on top of. ComfyWrapNest is a fully enclosed cave bed shaped like an oversized slipper — the dog walks in through the opening at the toe, curls up inside, and is surrounded on all sides by a thick faux fur lining. Available in three sizes to suit small and medium dogs, in blue, grey or green.
The slipper shape
The bed is shaped like a large slipper with a roomy toe opening. Dogs that like to burrow — breeds such as Dachshunds, Beagles, Terriers, and Spaniels tend to naturally seek out enclosed spaces — can walk straight in and curl up with the walls of the bed around them on all sides. The shape also makes it a talking point; it looks exactly like what it is.
Faux fur plush interior
The inside of the bed is lined with a thick faux fur plush. It’s soft underfoot and against the sides — the dog is enclosed in softness rather than just resting on a padded base. The outer shell is a fleece blend that holds the slipper shape and wipes clean easily.
Three sizes, three colours
Small (40×30×25cm) suits dogs up to roughly 5kg; Medium (50×35×30cm) suits dogs up to around 8kg; Large (60×40×35cm) suits dogs up to approximately 12kg. All three sizes are available in blue, grey, and green. If your dog is between sizes, size up so they have room to turn around inside.
For burrowing breeds
Not every dog wants an open flat bed. Breeds that instinctively dig and burrow — Dachshunds, Miniature Schnauzers, Cocker Spaniels, Jack Russells — often prefer a covered space they can retreat into. ComfyWrapNest suits those dogs. It’s also a good fit for dogs that tend to drag blankets into corners to sleep under.

Honest notes
Size up if in doubt. The cave entrance is fixed — unlike an open bed there’s no way to spread out if it’s too small. Check your dog’s length when curled up against the internal dimensions and go larger if they’re on the boundary.
Not all dogs like enclosed beds. Dogs that prefer to stretch out flat, or that run warm, may not take to a fully enclosed cave. It suits dogs that naturally seek out covered spots — under furniture, inside crates, beneath blankets.
Cleaning. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. We haven’t confirmed machine-wash tolerance with the supplier — we’ll update this once confirmed.
Fibre content. We’re confirming exact fibre composition with our supplier. The outer is a fleece-type fabric and the interior is a faux fur plush; full material details will be added once confirmed.

Which size should I choose?
Measure your dog when curled up and match to the internal size. Small (40×30×25cm) for dogs up to around 5kg; Medium (50×35×30cm) for dogs up to around 8kg; Large (60×40×35cm) for dogs up to around 12kg. If your dog is on the boundary, go up a size — there’s no way to stretch out beyond the fixed cave opening.
Will my dog actually use an enclosed bed?
Enclosed cave beds suit dogs that naturally burrow or seek out covered spaces — under sofas, inside crates, beneath duvets. Breeds like Dachshunds, Terriers, Spaniels, and Schnauzers often take to them quickly. Dogs that prefer to stretch out flat or sleep in open spaces may not. There’s no universal answer, but if your dog already digs at blankets or crawls under furniture to sleep, this is likely to suit them.
Is it suitable for cats too?
Yes — cats that like enclosed spaces will use it just as happily. The Small size suits most cats; the Medium is fine for larger cats or those that like more room. We stock dedicated cat cave beds in the SniffWaggleNWalk range if you want specifically cat-shaped options.
Can it be machine washed?
We’re confirming machine-wash tolerance with our supplier. Until then, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap and allow to air dry fully. We’ll update this once we have a confirmed answer.

Can I return it if it’s not right?
Yes. If you’re not happy with your order for any reason, visit our contact page and we’ll sort it out. Returns are free within 30 days for unused items in original condition. Once a pet has used the product we cannot accept a return for hygiene reasons.
