They go exploring in the woods, encountering all sorts of other animals with tailsa snake, a rabbit, a squirrel, and even a beaverand ask each one if they have an extra tail they can loan poor Smokey. However it is not until they meet Mr. Raccoon that they being to understand that maybe Smokey is perfectly happy the way he is, having developed his own form of communication. Thus they learn a valuable lesson about accepting themselves and each other the way they are. With suitable language and charming illustrations, B.J. Shugars uses her story of Smokey the Tailless Dog to impart a gentle moral to children that its okay to be different and, in fact, we should celebrate our differences rather than discriminate because of them.

About the Author

A native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, B.J. Shugars and her husband, Robert, have resided in Greencastle, Indiana, for the last twenty-two years. Together, they have raised seven children: Dean, Robert, Melissa, Thomas, Theodore, Darrel, and Patrick.

I have a pro max iphone with a case and there’s no way one-handed operation works to insert and remove the phone into the holder. You can use one hand to adjust the angle and positioning but not otherwise. An OFI for OffRoam, incorporate a tension adjustment into the design for ease of insertion and removal of the phone (without breaking the bank). Taking all things into consideration the pros far outweigh the cons! Best unit out there for Gen 3 Tacoma owners.

FINALLY a decent phone mount!!!
I’ve tried about 5 different phone mounts in my 2018 Tacoma and ended up throwing them all away. They’re either too bulky, too weak to hold the phone, awkward or just won’t stay in place. I won’t install a holder that requires adhesive or screws into the dash (or anywhere) in my truck. This holder is the answer. Fits perfectly, doesn’t damage your vehicle.
