Argon ONE V2 is a Raspberry Pi 4 compatible case that is made with aluminum alloy and polished with a modern Space Grey finish for stunning aesthetics and functionality. It offers one of the best cooling solutions for Raspberry Pi 4. The case has an extension that connects to the processor with a thermal cooling pad so that heat from the processor is transferred to the case. This means that the case becomes a heatsink passively cooling the motherboard so that the computer can work without building up much heat. Also, the case comes with a built-in PCB board with a fan attached to actively cool the Raspberry Pi further. These two cooling systems combined guarantee long-lasting use without overheating. The fan speed can be configured easily at any time via the terminal. Also, it has front and rear vents for better airflow.

In addition, the case is compatible with Argon One M.2 Expansion Board to extend support for M.2 NVME SSDs to maximize the true potential speeds of your Raspberry Pi 4.

Ever dreamt of having a Power Button for your Raspberry Pi?

Normally a Raspberry Pi gets powered as soon as you connect it to the power supply and does not have a power button onboard. Well…Argon ONE V2 can change the way you interact with your Raspberry pi 4. With the power button installed on the case, you can easily turn on your Raspberry Pi and perform safe shutdowns, reboots and forced shutdowns.

Assembling the case with the Raspberry Pi is very easy. Install the Argon ONE Script that unlocks the full functionality of the Argon ONE V2 case. All the ports are accessed at the back, making it more manageable with minimal cable clutter and easy cleaning. This also makes it easy to tidy and pack up when on the move without compromising any ports of the motherboard.

Dual Full-Size HDMI Connectors

The new Argon ONE V2 case features 2 full-size HDMI connectors, which are converted from the original mini HDMI connectors available on the Raspberry Pi 4. This makes it easier to use your existing HDMI cables rather than needing to buy mini-HDMI cables separately.

Color-coded GPIO Pins?

The case was designed with one main purpose, protecting the Raspberry Pi without compromising the full functionality of the motherboard. The built-in PCB board extends the GPIO pins of the Raspberry Pi with the pins being color-coded to easily identify the pin functions. Also, the pins are clearly labeled for convenient use. When the pins are not in use, they’re covered and protected by a magnetic removable top. This makes the Pins accessible at all times, allowing the Raspberry PI to be used in various electronics projects.

The case comes with a top and bottom, 4 screws, a built-in PCB Board, a silicon cooling pad, and a PCB Board that extends the audio and micro HDMI ports. Assembling the raspberry pi with the case though is as easy as 1, 2, 3 or A, B, C. Combining the parts together is simple and intuitive. All that’s needed is a four-way screwdriver, and that’s just to tighten the screws to the bottom of the case. No special tools needed at all. After placing the Raspberry Pi and installing the OS on the SD Card, a one-line script needs to be typed into the terminal so that the power button and fan can be used.

This case also has an in-built programmable infrared receiver to turn ON/OFF the Raspberry Pi using proprietary Argon 40 remote.

Ancient Greece: the progenitor for modern day civilization
Format: Kindle
This enthralling text explores Ancient Greece from its Bronze age origins to its capitulation under the Roman Empire. Furthermore, it emphasizes the long-reaching impact this heterogeneous collection of city-states had on political, scientific, mathematical, philosophical, architectural, and military development. All of this was accomplished in spite of constantly shifting intra-regional conflict between Athens, Thrace and Sparta. Outside enemies like the Persian empire only complicated relations further. This sibling rivalry-of-sorts evolved when Alexander the Great's Macedonian empire conquered the Greek world and supplanted itself in the greco-persian conflict. While Macedonia's did embroil the internecine conflicts in the area they hellenized the regions they conquered, including: Persia,Egypt, and parts of India. However, when Alexander the Great died it left a power vacuum exploited by his men, the Romans, and the Ancient Greeks. This ultimately resulted in the Roman Empire. Ancient Greece set the stage for roman empire and while they were an autonomous union of city-states for much of their existence two things united them: their language and religion. These two cultural touchstones united these city-states as brothers, albeit with a love-hate relationship at times. This text explores the archaic, classic, and hellenic periods of Greek history in a fascinating and concise manner. It is a must-read.

Enlightening
Format: Paperback
I discovered a number of interesting things reading this book. I learned for example, that Sparta was indeed a warrior city, with men training to be soldiers from an early age and living in barracks, even when they were married. This and the death rate from fighting led to a low birth rate and their eventual demise. I also discovered that athletes in the original Olympics did indeed compete naked and that making a false start to a race was not a good idea, as people who did that were executed! I also learned that there were Greeks who believed the Earth was round and that it circled the sun, hundreds of years before Copernicus. I also discovered that the various Greek factions, (e.g. Athens, Sparta, Macedonia etc.) seemed to be constantly fighting one another). I knew that Alexander the Great built a massive empire but did not realize the extent of that empire until I read this tome. I also discovered that Aristotle was a student of Plato, who in turn was a student of Socrates Overall, it was a very enlightening read where I gathered all sorts of interesting facts
