This modular pole contains 9 separate sections, 8 of which have swaged ends to connect together with ease. The straight section forms the top piece, and you can use all elements together for a generous martin house or flag pole, or just a few for use with a different bird house or feeder. Top the pole with the sturdy, powder coated steel pulley wheel and feed the included, 20' nylon rope through it to easily raise and lower your martin house for regular maintenance. This robust, steel wheel ensures smooth movement and rust resistance for seasons of service with a higher weight capacity than similar poles, and its extended sides cover the opening atop your existing martin house roof. A matching, powder coated rope cleat can be affixed to the pole using the included screws, readily holding the remainder of the rope securely in place. Concrete one of the pole sections in soil to act as an anchor, or use a ground sleeve (not included) for more versatility. This strong, modular Purple Martin House Pole acts as a staunch and enhanced replacement for the S&K Galvanized Steel Easy Pulley System Martin House Pole, and is sure to situate your existing S&K house at a fantastic height for martins. There were two things that impressed me when this arrived. The suction cups weren't permanently mounted, so if they fell apart, the caddy was still worthwhile. Secondly, the company offered free replacement suction cups if the time came I needed them. That struck me as above-and-beyond; I had no idea this was part of the package. I'm happy with this. It looks good, I detach the sink caddy regularly when I want to move it out of the way, and it pops right back into place. For the money, I don't think you can beat it.

I love this shelf! It took two people to hang it and you definitely want to ensure you hit a stud on at least one side or 1-2 screws if mounting between studs. I would buy this shelf, or versions of it, again. Very practical and useful to display autographs, housewares or decor. Last note: do not over tighten the poles. The wood is soft and the poles are light weight. They are not traditional black pipe and weigh far less.
