The wood elves’ recent success in the battle of Karthanon made the value of the once-discounted Hippogriff mount painfully clear to even the most zealous of Griffon stablemasters. Harathiel understood that Hesperos’ unwavering loyalty made him much easier to manage on and off the battlefield than Mountainclaw.
