Milwaukee MI490 Peroxide Photometer - a lightweight, rugged meter with simple zero point calibration, and fast, accurate readings of ±0.5 meq O2/kg. MI490 provides easy to read results with large digital LCD readout. Perfect for food and olive oil production, as well as educational settings, this user friendly and low maintenance device offers quick and reliable results!
Cuvette chamber features built in indexing indent, providing a lock and key fit with the cuvette cap - ensuring the sample is indexed consistently in the same position, in order to maintain the same path length for accurate results. Built in timer ensures appropriate reaction time is allotted for each sample. At the end of the timer, the meter will automatically take the reading, ensuring the same amount of time is allotted for each test.
Features:
- Error messaging displays alerts to ensure no mistakes are made in the testing process. Messages include light high, light low, inverted sample procedure, overrange readings and zero cal error to ensure the user has the most accurate error free readings.
- Simple to use zero point calibration. Simply insert the Perioxide reagent vial with 1 mL of oil sample into the chamber after shaking, index the cuvette and press the zero button. Your calibration is complete.
