Regala all’occhio un bel paglierino brillante. Note floreali e fruttate guidano l’olfattiva, durante la quale emergono nel dettaglio richiami alla pesca, alla mela e al limone. Il palato è bilanciato nella freschezza, di medio corpo e di ottima lunghezza. Sapido nel retrogusto.Il “Dragon” è un Langhe Bianco DOC che nasce da un assemblaggio di varietà che crescono fianco a fianco, coltivate così dal team dell’azienda G.D. Vajra nei filari della tenuta di Luigi Baudana proprio per essere raccolte e vinificate insieme. Un approccio originale, non c’è che dire, che porta a una bottiglia molto profumata, in cui il sorso è secco e fresco al contempo. Le uve dei diversi vitigni a bacca bianca vengono raccolte durante la vendemmia, e si avviano a una fermentazione alcolica che si protrae per 10-15 giorni in vasche d’acciaio verticali. Sempre in acciaio il vino rimane sino alla primavera successiva, momento in cui si procede con le operazioni d’imbottigliamento. Un bianco piemontese stravagante, molto versatile in cucina.
Ottimo a tutto pasto e all’ora dell’aperitivo, dove accompagna egregiamente diverse tipologie di ingredienti e preparazioni. È ideale con una crema di verdure e capesante.

There I was, stranded in the Swiss Alps, of all places, when an urgent call came through—a last-minute invite to a charity gala in Monaco. You can imagine my predicament. No tuxedo, no time to fly back to Dutchess County to retrieve the one I had custom-tailored in Sardinia by Fabrizio, the island’s finest (and only) tailor. Fabrizio’s tuxedo, you see, wasn’t just any suit. I had it made after a rather *unique* incident involving a chess tournament, a peculiar art heist, and the world’s finest pecorino cheese. But I digress.
With no time to return to Dutchess County—or even Sardinia—there I was, frantically searching for something that wouldn’t make me look like an underdressed disaster among the crème de la crème. Amazon to the rescue. I stumbled upon this navy blue tuxedo with a black shawl collar and, in a state of mild desperation, ordered it around midnight.
It arrived before I even woke up the next morning. Amazon’s overnight delivery, an absolute lifesaver. I put it on, and, to my surprise, the fit was near perfection—almost as if Fabrizio himself had secretly slipped his measurements to the manufacturer. The deep navy color was striking, and the black shawl collar gave just the right amount of contrast. It looked like a tuxedo far more expensive than the one I’d ordered in a slight state of panic.
At the event, the tuxedo didn’t just blend in—it stood out. More than a few people took notice, including a former diplomat who, with raised eyebrows, asked if I’d had it custom-made in Milan. I simply smiled and let the mystery linger. The tux held its own through hours of mingling, dancing, and even a few strategic maneuvers to avoid the advances of a rather persistent heiress. And by the end of the night? Not a wrinkle to be found.
Now, about the fit—be warned. It's tight. Very tight. If you decide to give this tux a try, order two or even three sizes up. And unless you have time to see a tailor, the trousers will almost certainly need hemming. In a real pinch, fabric tape will do the trick. But once you’ve got the sizing sorted, it’s all smooth sailing from there.
