Hear ye, brave and bold!
You are cordially invited to His Majesty's grand Combo Party! In this game, you'll recruit characters to build your personal tableau, carefully considering their unique abilities and scoring conditions.
Each turn, players can buy cards from either the Village or Castle, depending on the Messenger pawn’s position, and place them in their tableau. Placement rules include:
- Each new card (except the first) must be placed orthogonally adjacent to another card in your tableau.
- Your tableau must form a 3x3 grid by the end of the game.
After placing a card, activate its ability. The game concludes once all players have filled their 9-card tableaus. Points are scored based on each card’s end-game conditions, and the player with the highest score wins!
BUILD YOUR IDEAL TABLEAU: Recruit characters from the Village or Castle to form a 3x3 grid. Each card offers unique powers and ways to score at the end of the game. STRATEGIC COMBOS: Place your cards wisely and trigger their abilities to maximize points through clever combinations. PLAYER CHOICE & FLEXIBILITY: Move the Messenger pawn to switch between the Village and Castle markets, refreshing the board for new cards and expanding your strategic options. QUICK & EASY TO LEARN: With clear symbols and a helpful reference sheet, Castle Combo is perfect for both family fun and competitive play. Games typically last 20-30 minutes.
