The chess pieces have been expertly crafted from graded sheesham (golden rosewood) and boxwood, are weighted and have excellent balance. They have tall and elegant proportions and are finished off with a natural polish that is flawless. The uniformity of the pieces is outstanding; all four knights are uniform, and you will not find a set with better consistency for the price.

This deluxe chessboard has been manufactured to exacting tolerances using veneers of fine walnut and maple. It features a satin finish that is robust enough to withstand many years of chess playing.
