This evocative Victorian ring dating to 1876, is a masterful example of 19th century symbolism and design. Created in a warm 15 carat rose gold, the ring features two entwined snakes forming a protective loop around a central cabochon cut labradorite. The gold serpents have a satin matt finish on it giving a relative glow the gold. Labradorite is a natural stone whose iridescent play of colour mimics the scales of serpent skin with uncanny beauty; a perfect combination.

The serpents are sculpted in high relief, their bodies coiling around the finger. The signet style setting is bold with the snakes’ heads meeting protectively around the central stone. This design was a powerful symbol of eternity, wisdom, and unity in the Victorian era. In sentimental jewellery, the snake motif often represented everlasting love or the eternal cycle of life and death.

The labradorite itself is a great choice. With its natural inclusions and labyrinthine flashes of blue, green, and grey, it evokes the living texture of a serpent’s skin. Adding a layer of almost mythic depth to the ring. This is not merely an ornament but a talisman mysterious, personal, and full of symbolism.

Victorian serpent rings were often given as tokens of eternal love or remembrance, and this piece uniquely crowned with a stone that seems to hold the spirit of the snake itself is both wearable and wonderfully storied.

This ball is perfect for keeping my dog active and entertained. It's made of strong, durable material, ideal for games of fetch. It doesn't break easily and is light enough for him to carry in his mouth without any problem.

Fun but not for rough play.
Color: Orange
The ball contented our “golden” Jaxson for about 15 minutes. He then thought it was a regular ball and it’s just a little delicate for a big dog. I just wrote it off as a loss. Great idea but should be more durable.
