This makes working with the product range when hot safer and easier — especially if you want to add or remove the lid, as the pot won't collapse when pushed on. (A basic PP deli pot will tolerate the same heat but will go soft when microwaved, firming up only as it cools.) Microwave Use:

The PP bases are microwave-safe. For best results, heat food without the lid and place the lid on after heating. The LDPE lids should not be microwaved directly.
