An antique coin, an everyday object, has been beautifully personalised. A sentimental object as poignant today as it was when first created in 1912.

This sentimental pendant has its origins in the Georgian era. The coin itself is from George III and dates to around 1800, we can sit see the lettering and figure head on one side. This was clearly loved and handles as the crips edges have given way to soften wear. A very tactile piece.

Around 100 - 120 years after this coin was minted it was converted into a mourning token. One side has been polished out and engraved with the words ‘ In Memory of Grandpa Jan-y 1912. Traces of a gold wash can also be seen on both sides. This was a dearly treasured piece.

This is a unique item filled with love. It would look beautiful worn again and would be an amazing addition to any jewellery lovers collection.

WEIGHT: 5.2 grams approx.

CONDITION: This is overall in lovely antique condition with some wear and knocks to the pendant.

AFTERCARE: with all vintage and antique jewellery they are not perfect. To extend its life, treat it with love and avoid contact with any chemicals. Silver will tarnish with time, however a quick polish with silvo or a polish cloth with making it look beautiful. The more the piece is worn the slower the tarnish will appear! Love it and wear it
