Who Can Use the Sonicaid Digital Doppler?
The Sonicaid Digital Doppler is ideal for use by medical professionals both in clinical settings and during home visits. It can be used to screen foetal heart rates of foetus from around 8-10 weeks to labour, monitoring the FHR throughout pregnancy.
The rechargeable battery design also means that it does not depend on any wires or power outlets. This makes it ideal for travelling to remote clinics.
How Do I Use the Huntleigh Doppler?
The Huntleigh Doppler allows the heart rate of a foetus to be monitored with ease. The 2MHz waterproof probe attaches to the main unit, and the probe is used to pick up the heartbeat. The foetal heart rate is displayed clearly on the high-visibility backlit colour screen.
Will I Hear the Foetal Heartbeat?
The Sonicaid Digital Doppler includes a built-in audio speaker. This will allow you to hear any sounds picked up by the ultrasound probe, with the built-in noise reduction and gel filter for improved audio quality.
How Portable Is the Digital Doppler?
Compact in design, the Sonicaid Digital Doppler is incredibly portable. As it is battery operated, no mains power or cumbersome leads are required, making it ideal for medical professionals during home visits and when travelling between clinics.
