The Tamiya 1/700 Aircraft Carrier Zuikaku Pearl Harbor (31223) reproduces the IJN carrier that was one of the six carriers in the First Air Fleet that launched the attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941. Zuikaku (Happy Crane) and her sister Shokaku were the two newest and most capable Japanese carriers of the Pearl Harbor raid, carrying the most experienced aviators in the IJN. Zuikaku survived through the entire war until she was finally sunk at the Battle of Cape Engaño during Leyte Gulf in October 1944.

Affordable protection plan and superb customer care
I usually don’t buy extended warranty, but I took a chance and added a 4-year Asurion Protection Plan to my purchase of a Canon PIXMA printer. So glad I did!! After only a year and a half, my printer showed an error message 6800. Cannon website states “Support code 6800 generally indicates a failure with the logic board on your printer. Service will be required.” How convenient for that to happen shortly out of Canon’s regular 1-year warranty (🙄). I called Canon. Long story short…they couldn’t do anything for me unless I purchase a warranty plan from them and they send me a replacement or I would need to pay for a repair. No thanks. I called Asurion and talked to a very nice tech support person. She couldn’t get rid of the error message remotely, so she transferred me to another very nice support specialist, who helped me start a repair claim. Asurion mailed me a box with a lot of packing material, along with shipping instructions and label to ship my printer to them for free. A few days into the repair process, they determined my Canon printer was unrepairable and they emailed me an Amazon gift card that same day for the cost of my crappy Canon printer. They were in total communication via email throughout the repair process. I highly recommend Asurion, and I would definitely purchase another protection plan from them again.
