La propriété :L'origine de la propriété est très ancienne. Les vignes étaient cultivées sur les coteaux de l'actuel Château Pavie dès le IVème siècle.
Propriété de Chantal et Gérard Perse depuis mars 1998, Château Pavie, 1er Grand Cru Classé « A », possède l'un des plus beaux terroirs de Saint-Émilion.
Château Pavie est connu pour la structure et l'élégance de ses vins issus d'une récolte contenue dans les rendements les plus adaptés au terroir : 29hl/ha.
Le vignoble :
Le vignoble de Château Pavie est constitué d'un seul bloc de 37 hectares, ce qui en fait l'un des plus grands Premiers Grands Crus Classés de Saint-Émilion.
Situé au sud-est de la colline de Saint-Emilion, le vignoble s'étale sur trois niveaux remontant la colline, avec des vignes âgées de 48 ans en moyenne. Le « plateau » (85 mètres d'altitude) est composé d'un sol argilo-calcaire et le « milieu de coteau » (55 mètres d'altitude) est composé d'un sol brun argilo-calcaire à texture fine. Le « pied de coteau » est composé de sols sablo-sableux avec crasses de fer entre 60 et 80 cm et de sols sablo-graveleux.
Une attention particulière est portée au vignoble dont une partie a fait l'objet d'un plan de replantation comprenant le rehaussement du palissage pour augmenter la surface foliaire, la taille spécifique selon l'âge des vignes, l'éclaircissage et l'effeuillage.
Vinification et élevage :
Les raisins sont vendangés à la main puis triés. La vendange est ensuite mise dans 21 cuves bois thermorégulées. Après une cuvaison de 38 jours, la fermentation malolactique s'effectue en barriques ainsi que l'élevage. La répartition est de 80% de barriques neuves et 20% de barriques d'un vin.
Assemblage :
Ce Château Pavie 2020 est un assemblage de Merlot (50%), Cabernet Franc (32%) et Cabernet Sauvignon (18%).

Good Core Content but I won't read it again

This book makes a strong stand for the position that the Bible does not fit within the genre of myth. That is the positive aspects of this work. However, this book at times seems somewhat philosophical, it can be hard to follow the author's logic, and it does not adequately cover one of the most fundamental questions the author poses. For example, the question of whether the theology of the Bible should receive special credence if the historical basis it rests on is found to be incorrect is asked, but the answer given is short and does not fully interact with the question which I found to be very disappointing.

Really Helpful and Easier to Use Than I Expected
Format: Paperback
I bought the APA 7th Edition manual for my college research papers, and it’s been a lifesaver. Compared to the older edition, this one feels much clearer and way easier to navigate. The full-color layout and the examples throughout really help when I’m stuck on how to format citations or references.
I especially appreciate the new sections tailored for students like me—it’s not just for professional writers anymore. Plus, the tips on inclusive language made me think more carefully about how I write.
It’s definitely a dense read if you try to go cover-to-cover, but as a reference book, it’s super practical. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and how often I use it, it’s totally worth it.
If you’re in school or need to write APA-style papers regularly, I’d recommend grabbing this manual. It makes the whole process less stressful.
