Forstberg riesling behoort tot de Grosse Lage wijnen, wat vergeleken kan worden met de Franse ‘Grand Cru’. De wijnstokken staan hoger aangeplant en er wordt geoogst met lagere rendementen, wat zich reflecteert in de diepte en concentratie van deze wijn. De ondergrond bestaat uit kalkhoudende loess en leisteen. De wijngaarden liggen ten Oosten van het oude wijndorp Leutesdorf en hierdoor hangen de druiven langer vooraleer ze rijp zijn. Dit zorgt voor wijnen met heel veel diepgang en complexiteit. De Reserve-versie van de Forstberg wordt een aantal weken later en dus rijper geoogst. Dit resulteert in meer suiker en een hoger potentieel alcoholgehalte, al deze suikers worden vergist in alcohol waardoor het resultaat een rijke en zeer krachtige maar toch droge witte wijn is. In de neus hebben we geuren van gekonfijte kweepeer, zeste van bergamot en een florale ondertoon van lindebloesem. Bij het proeven merk je onmiddellijk dat dit absolute wereldtop is, voor wat witte wijnen betreft. De smaakpapillen worden verwend met rijpe peer en appel, zeste van limoen met een licht grassige ondertoon. De afdronk is zeer lang en toont de perfecte balans tussen de complexiteit, het mineralig karakter en de elegante zuren. Deze wijn serveer je het best in een slank glas en laat je in zijn jeugd best even openen in een brede karaf. Serveer niet te koel. Puur genot om te delen!

The footbed is very comfortable with the memory foam. Lots of support. I noticed my back and ankle pain is much better wearing these. I've never owned UGG before. My new favorite summer sandal!

I am loving these shoes so far this summer! The color is so cute, perfect for a light summer palette. It's the perfect light purple that doesn't make me look pale or washed out. For reference, I have fair to light neutral skin tone. They are SO comfortable - a little too comfortable for a shoe, it's more comfortable than my ugg slippers! Slight arch support to me but I have somewhat high arches so if you are more flat footed or standard arch these will give you even better support. Really impressed with these. They are more casual but work with many different outfits from sundresses to jeans. For me, these were a great buy and I will be wearing them all summer.
