Onderhoudsinstructies

De aangeboden kunstwerken worden in Duitsland geproduceerd, gemaakt van breukvast, niet-giftig kunststofmateriaal in een rotatiegietproces. Ze zijn geschikt voor binnen- en buitengebruik. Alle onderdelen komen uit Duitsland en worden regelmatig aan kwaliteitscontroles onderworpen. De sculpturen zijn seriematige individuele stukken, wat zorgt voor het bijzondere karakter van deze kunstwerken. De kunstenaar heeft de objecten goedgekeurd zoals ze zijn. Eventuele onregelmatigheden vormen geen gebrek en kunnen daarom niet als reden tot reclamatie worden beschouwd. Om uw sculpturen zo lang mogelijk expressief te houden, verzoeken wij u de onderstaande onderhoudsinstructies in acht te nemen:

Plaatsing buiten

Afhankelijk van de mate waarin de sculpturen zijn blootgesteld aan de natuurlijke klimaatomstandigheden, zullen ze na verloop van tijd sporen van verwering vertonen, zoals gebruikelijk is bij elk ander materiaal. Houd er rekening mee dat plastic materialen niet ontworpen zijn om zo lang mee te gaan als bijvoorbeeld steen of metaal. Voor een blijvende kleurintensiteit raden wij aan de figuren op een beschutte plaats te installeren en blootstelling aan permanent zonlicht te vermijden. Vooral goud- en zilverkleurige beelden blijven op deze manier beter behouden.

Reiniging

Gebruikelijke milde neutrale reinigingsmiddelen en een zachte spons zijn geschikt voor het verwijderen van stof en vuil.

Extra bescherming tegen wind en diefstal

Je kan een gat boren in de voet van het beeld. Met behulp van een onderconstructie, bijv. van metaal, kan je het beeld dan direct aan de grond verankeren. Dit is wat het team van Ottmar Hörl doet bij het opstellen voor de kunstinstallaties en het vastzetten in de grond.
