Aquaforest StoneFix Aquascaping Cement

Aquaforest StoneFix Aquascaping Cement is used for quickly bonding large rock structures in aquascaping, both inside and outside of aquariums, while being reef-safe and non-toxic.

Aquaforest's StoneFix is a highly efficient, quickly bonding cement-based glue perfect for connecting large rock structures while aquascaping. Take full creative control of your aquarium aquascape - bond live rock or ceramic rock, inside or outside of the aquarium, with this non-toxic compound that is reef-safe and easy to use.

Directions for Use:

  • Use 50ml (3tbs) of water for every 100g (1/2 cup) of Stone Fix
  • Add small amounts of Stone Fix powder to water while constantly mixing; continue mixing until consistency is homogenous
  • Use immediately to link pieces and allow 15 minutes for bonding to set 

Stone Fix is recommended to be used outside the tank. In case of necessity of using underwater, all circulatory and shunt pumps should be switched off. After linking individual pieces leave for bonding for 15 minutes. Temporary haziness of the water is not harmful. Because of possible pH level raise, in tanks with livestock we recommend not to glue more than 2-3 pieces a day.

A must buy for the littles this winter.

Frostfire is a must buy for the littles this winter. I read through it once myself and absolutely loved the story and especially the illustrations. A very classic, winter whimsy. The second time I read Frostfire was with my 3 and 5 year olds. They also enjoyed it and had quite the debate over whether the snow dragon would be real. The 3 year old won! Looking forward to this book's release and coming across some frostfire in the real world this winter. Thanks to Penguin Random House Canada, Tundra Books and NetGalley for the eARC!

atmospheric illustrations and a story about sharing imagination

I received this book as part of the LibraryThing EarlyReviewer program. The illustrations are photographs of collage, with some digital editing to add snow effects. It's a bit of an atmospheric "kids go for a walk in the snow" book, a la The Snowy Day, but for older kids. I liked how there was a subtle background story about children trying to navigate having slightly conflicting imaginative stories. It can be a challenge for a kid to learn how to do this when playing with others. The illustrations of the dragon especially were a wonderful surprise. My 8 year old loved the book and is happy that we get to keep it.

Stunning Illustrations, wonderful story

I was immediately drawn to this book by the bewitching title and exquisite artwork. We follow two sisters, Celeste and Miriam, on their garden adventure in the magical snow. This story was the perfect length, with enchanting drawings and an adorable plot with charming sisters. Such a joy to read I will definitely be looking forward to reading this book with my daughter. I could see it being a winter favorite.
