After spending 15 years building the gear for his new endeavor, Cohearent Records - which is an All-Valve (Vacuum Tube) recording system from microphones to disk cutterhead - award-winning mastering engineer Kevin Gray releases the first LP by jazz saxophonist Kirsten Edkins, Shapes & Sound. Kirsten Edkins, a young composer and saxophonist from Los Angeles, is an exciting prospect.

Kirsten graduated from Eastman School of Music on scholarship. She studied composition and arranging with Bill Dobbins, as well as Walt Weiskopf and the legendary Ray Ricker.

Before her time at Eastman she studied with Bob Sheppard, a jazz recording artist and woodwind specialist. Kirsten is a highly sought-after improviser and has performed with Arturo Sandoval (Al 'Tootie' Heath), Tim Hagans, Clay Jenkins, John Beasley and Geoffrey Keezer. She has also performed with the Clare Fischer Big Band, Bill Holman Big Band, Bernie Dresel Big Band (The BBB), Sara Gazarek, Gary Foster, Joe LaBarbara, Larry Goldings and Clay Jenkins. Kirsten has appeared on television shows such as American Idol, Duets, Knight Rider, Glee, Bones and The Tonight Show.

A motivational music educator, Kirsten's associations include Cal State Fullerton's Stanford Jazz Workshop, Saddleback College and Golden West College. Kirsten has been educating and encouraging young musicians in her private studio for more than 14 years. She also directs the American Jazz Institute's Community Outreach and teaches saxophone at Occidental College in Eagle Rock.

Kirsten is joined on Shapes & Sound by Gerald Clayton (courtesy of Blue Note) on piano, Ahmet Turkmenoglu on bass, Lemar Guillary on trombone and Chris Wabich on drums.

Excellent Guide for the Soul and the Spiritual Journey
This book was one that I somehow decided upon--seemed like divine providence. For the book ended up being quite pivotal for this point in my spiritual journey. I found it very readable, loved Climacus' to-the-point style but with yet eloquent presentation. A friend who is 87 and reads books with me, across the miles, loved this book, also. It is a kind of a guidebook for the soul, step by step. The translation is excellent; the introduction quite helpful, too. I bought the book used online, and rather than resell it, this book is definitely staying in my possession so that I can refer back to it. Excellent!

Freshness that Lasts
Flavor Name: Peppermint, Size: 3 Pack
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first tried Zelmin Breath Mints, but they’ve quickly become my favorite way to keep my breath fresh and my confidence high. The flavor is crisp and invigorating without being overpowering, and unlike many mints that fade after just a few minutes, these actually last. The packaging is compact and convenient, making it easy to slip into a pocket or bag, and the taste strikes the perfect balance, refreshing without being overly sweet. What impressed me most is the performance: the long-lasting freshness truly sets these apart, and there’s no chalky texture or artificial aftertaste, just clean, cool breath. I’ve tried countless mints over the years, but Zelmin stands out for its quality and effectiveness. If you’re looking for something reliable that delivers on freshness, this is it. Highly recommend! Not too sweet too!

Minty Mouth and Fresh Feel on the Go!
Flavor Name: Peppermint, Size: 3 Pack
I really like the concept of this product and how strong the mint is. It gives a quick burst of freshness that lasts longer than regular mints. The size is convenient for on the go and perfect for travel. I do wish the flavor was a bit smoother, but overall it does exactly what it promises and has been helpful for dry mouth and keeping breath fresh.

The closest thing to the now-defunct BreathAssure that I can find & they works great!!
Flavor Name: Peppermint, Size: 3 Pack
Most parsley seed oil products these days add some kind of mint oil because of the belief that more is better and you wind up burping spearmint or peppermint. The ones with mint seem to be less effective with less actual parsley seed oil. BreathAssure was a popular parsley seed oil product in the mid 1990s. The company was family owned and they grew way too fast and then bottomed out. Boom, no more BreathAssure. THIS product, Botanic Choice Parsley Seed Oil - Breath Gels, are FINALLY the same basic and compact gel that meets my needs. There is sunflower oil as the "carrier oil" and then the correct dose of Parsley seed oil. You cannot imagine the Snoopy happy dance I did when I unpacked them and swallowed a couple! One thing to note: I have found after much use, that I need to take about 3 gels before and after eating something garlicky or heavy with onions. BreathAssure worked better but these are the best substitute I have found so far and believe me, I have tried dozens of other Parsley seed oil gels. I order these once a month with Subscribe and Save. 1. No bad taste burp ups 2. Works like a charm. Take with a meal or between meals if you get hunger breath or Halitosis. 3. Compact design - you can fit contents of TWO bottles into one if you want to carry extras. 4. replicates a product I used to consume daily 5. easy to swallow with a garlicky meal and have fresh breath afterward 6. Price is affordable and comparable to the brand I used to use. I have been ordering them frequently since this review was posted. May 3rd, 2023: It's been a while since I first began using these. I am still buying them and using them regularly. i have found that with good dental hygiene alone, I still had food-related bad breath. These seem to help better than any other formulation on the market today. As with many things, the price has gone up a little, but cheaper brands just don't work for me. This is the only brand that seems to have the same high quality parsley seed oil with no added ingredients to trick you. I don't need or want added mint oils or extracts in my parsley seed oil gels. I am glad that Botanic Choice keeps things simple. This is an essential part of my daily routine for fresher breath, and it helps me a lot. I would suggest trying one order to see if it helps YOU. Remember, I have found that an appropriate serving is 3 gels before a meal AND after a meal or even between meals, if i have eaten something fairly aromatic. Parsley oil has some good health benefits as well as it's natural deodorizing quality. Some people find it helps with stomach acid & reflux. I don't really have those problems, so i just take it the way i used to take BreathAssure. Parsley seed oil has been traditionally used as an upset stomach remedy and on the skin to prevent acne. It is also purported to have anti-inflammatory properties. I just need it for fresh breath, but if it does have other benefits, well great! I'm happy to have found this product and NOBODY has paid me or bribed me to write this review!

!0/10 Would Buy again finished the bottle!
Flavor Name: Peppermint, Size: 1 Pack
LOVE these easy-to-swallow and long-lasting effects. Highly don't recommend trying to bite into them, tho the taste is well unpleasant to say the least.
