The Blue Aeroplanes are Bristol's longest running band and a true art-rock institution who have inspired generations of post-punk and alternative groups including R.E.M., Radiohead, and Manic Street Preachers. 'Magical Realism - The Best Of The Blue Aeroplanes 1985-2025' is the first definitive anthology curated by the band, including tracks from across their catalogue.

The collection includes 25 tracks, featuring indie anthems like '... And Stones' and 'Jacket Hangs,' classic and more recent fan-favourites from 'Fun' and 'Bury Your Love Like Treasure to 'Dead Tree! Dead Tree!', plus eight tracks making their debut on vinyl. 'Magical Realism' also includes new track-by-track sleeve notes by frontman Gerard Langley, offering insight into the stories and inspirations behind each song, rare photographs from the band's archives, and a 12"x12" lyric sheet. 

The cover art features a painting by Ann Sheldon, the artist behind many of the band's most memorable covers. Remastered by Phil Kinrade and cut by Barry Grint at AIR Mastering.

I bought these 6 months ago because my dog kept loosing his Kong balls. These were such a better price ball (but still had good reviews) that I thought I would give them a try. They are wonderful. After six months of chewing and chasing and playing with a Belgian Malinois, the two that I’ve gotten out are still in great condition. The bright color makes them easier to find, so none have been permanently lost yet. They are bouncier and a little bit lighter weight compared to the Kong balls of the same size, which I honestly appreciate because my maligator likes to shoot them at my feet. So far the material seems high quality and I feel safe letting the dog chew on it for hours on end. The 8 pack was cheaper than 2 Kong balls. A great deal for a great product!!
