Seaview DPOD Deck Power Pod Box

Max Usable Face: 14.75" x 5"

Max Cut Out Area: 13.875" x 4.125"

The DPOD is a instrument deck pod designed for power boats. Seaview took their modular mount concept and applied it to their instrument pod product line. There will be three different box sizes to fit almost any chart plotter or instrument on the market. What makes the DPOD so great is that it really appeals to fisherman because of its quick rotating base.

Rotating Base

The quick rotating base makes the DPOD a really nice choice for fisherman as it allows you to rotate the screen for better viewing on the fly, so you don't miss that catch! Simply pull the secure bolt out and rotate the DPOD left or right up to 350 degrees. To lock the anodized aluminum base back into place simply push the secure bolt back in, it's so easy you can do it with one hand!

Construction

The DPOD is made from UV resistant ABS plastic and security screws are used to hold it all together. A water tight gasket is used to prevent water from entering inside the pod, while a GORE-TEX ventilation vent lets hot air to escape without letting water in.

Optional Accessory Pod

One of the unique abilities with this DPOD is the ability to add optional side pods (part #SP1BOX). Currently no other deck pod on the market has this feature. This optional add-on will fit single instruments 4.125" x 4.125" or smaller. Depending on the pod box size you choose you are able to mount either one to four of these accessory pods. This gives the user lots of flexible solutions to optimize their setup. The SP1BOX is made of UV resistant white ABS plastic and held together with tamper resistant screws and sealed with a rubber gasket.

Hardy the poet
Format: Paperback
We all know Hardy the novelist, but perhaps he is less well known as a poet. In this volume of over 900 pages, with nearly 1,000 poems, Hardy is colorful, chatty, direct, lyrical, thoughtful, deep. And perhaps his finest quality - at least so I find - is the fact that he is down-to-earth. His poems are not "difficult" for a reasonably literate, experienced reader; and the rhyming is never forced. In short, his poems are a delight.

The other side of one of the giants of the Victorian era.
Format: Paperback
Thomas Hardy is my favorite novelist who has ever lived. I preface the review of this poetry anthology - which includes every one of the 900+ poems he wrote throughout his life, from the 1860s to just before his death in 1928 - in this way because I’m a bit biased. Hardy’s poetry is technically satisfying and nearly as moving as his novels, and you can tell that the same precision he brought to prose is on full display in his verse. I’m working my way through every single poem in this collection, and thus far my favorites are “The Convergence of the Twain” and “After the Last Breath.” There are other poets whose works I like better (Dickinson, Yeats, Wordsworth, and Whitman come to mind), but as an amateur Hardy scholar, reading this collection is positively invaluable to understand the full depth of his genius, and as always Wordsworth Classics delivers in terms of a quality paperback that should withstand years of enjoyment. I own many of their releases and have yet to find one that even slightly disappoints.
